Literary Arts

The AFA encourages and supports the development of Albertan literary artists and arts organizations and the creation of literary works by Alberta artists. The AFA does this through direct grants to writers, support of literary festivals and organizations, and grants to assist in the promotion of Albertan literature nationally and overseas.

Alberta’s rich literary community is evident through Alberta’s prolific and varied number of writers, playwrights and literary festivals. Explore the number of ways you can enjoy and experience Alberta’s rich literary arts community!
