A character workshop? Yes. A status workshop? Also, yes. Fun and playful too? You betcha!

This workshop offers a bunch of cool tools and easy ways to create and define instant and unlimited characters for you to play with, and how to play them. It also comes with a few nifty status tricks to provide new perspectives on ideas, narrative, directing, relationships, group scenes, timelines and more.

You can expect engaging exercises, a friendly facilitator and a lot of learning by playing. The goal is to make character work less work and more play!

Terje Brevik is a professional improv teacher, performer, producer and community-builder based in Oslo, Norway.

With over a decade of experience, Terje has taught and performed across the globe. He studied under the legendary Keith Johnstone and trained at premier institutions like iO and The Annoyance in Chicago, and The Pack Theater in Los Angeles. 

Terje is the founder of Tøyen Impro and the Short Notice Improv Festival, as well as Impro Neuf and the Oslo Impro Festival.
