Da Camera Singers - Word Painters

Concert 3: Word Painters
Sunday, May 3, 2026, 3 pm
St. Andrew’s United Church (9915 148 St NW, Edmonton)

Join us for a colourful concert with many special elements!

The Da Camera Singers are excited to join forces with guest choir, Archbishop Jordan High School, and their conductor, Jolaine Kerley, for a concert exploring the vibrant world of word painting. You will hear each choir perform their own repertoire and they will collaborate on several pieces as well.

This program uses every color in our musical paint box, bringing lyrics to life with deep emotion, stunning lyricism, bold magnificence, and even touches of romance, intrigue, betrayal, and hilarity.

As we perform, you'll also see a new work of art come to life before your eyes. Local Edmonton artist Katie Tilbury will create a new painting inspired by the concert in real time and this painting will be raffled off at the end of the concert!

After the concert, the audience is invited to stay for a picnic. (Bring a lawn chair.) There will be food trucks (Dave’s Balls and Twice Cream), interactive displays and time to socialize.
