Noel joined the Alberta Foundation for the Arts in 2022 and brings over 20 years across the Alberta public service in various sectors including tourism, apprenticeship, and science and innovation. Noel has extensive knowledge and experience in both project and program management and has also been involved in the arts with a minor in Drama while attending the University of Alberta and winning a one-minute film scholarship through the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative while pursuing his MBA. As Director, Art Collections and AFA Initiatives, he provides leadership to the team managing AFA’s Art Collections and priority initiatives of the AFA. He is very excited to be part of the planning to celebrate the AFA’s 50th Anniversary of the art collections in 2022.
