Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Alberta’s foothills and expansive mountain views, the 2025 Harvest Supper Fundraiser invites guests to experience an evening of rustic elegance, heartfelt connection, and meaningful support for the arts. Hosted by the Leighton Art Centre, this annual event brings together community members to celebrate the intersection of creativity, culture, and nature in southern Alberta. This event takes place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 4:30 pm to sunset.
Alberta artists Ana Zanella and Veronica Funk present their own very distinct versions of
memories: abstract grids depicting patterns and organic motifs found in daily life, and portraits inspired by miniature vintage photographs – bringing together old and new through bodies of work that are interconnected by the past but presented in a way that represents the present. The show runs from August 5 - 30th.

The Western Canadian Sinus and Rhinoplasty Course takes place September 12–14, 2025, at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. This intensive three-day program offers live surgery demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on labs. With expertise shared by facial plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Rival, the event focuses on advancing skills in sinus surgery and reconstructive rhinoplasty.
