Bear Grease Shack Up For The Winter takes the beloved 1978 musical on an Indigenous joyride, now with a festive twist! This jaw-dropping, toe-tapping spectacle combines humour, fashion, and music with a burst of cultural flair that makes the classic story feel brand new. The Holiday Special adds lively Christmas surprises to the humour, electrifying dance numbers, and unforgettable tunes you know and love—along with Indigenous twists that celebrate culture and community.

Greenwood Singers invites you to "Home for the Holidays," a seasonal concert exploring how we find that feeling of home during the Christmas season. The program features music in a wide range of styles, from carols of the Levant and contemporary choral works to traditional Christmas songs and nostalgic favourites from the crooner era.

Jesse Morrison opened our season last year with a solo recital and returns in a new guise with cellist Clare Bradford presenting repertoire that spans a century, from Rebecca Clarke’s Two Pieces (1920) to Tanner Porter’s Under This Breath (2020). Centering the program is American Haiku by Paul Wiancko, California-based composer and current Kronos Quartet cellist. This 2014 work explores his heritage and identity, combining American and Japanese folk influences with his classical music training.
