Hours: 15 to 20 hours per week 
 
This posting is for up to 2 hourly positions based out of Festival Place

The Customer Service Representative I (CSR) responsibilities involve the selling of Festival Place performance events on the Ticketmaster system (ticket sales) over the phone or in person. This position is the first and last point of contact for the facility and this position creates positive relationships by providing accurate and detailed information in a courteous and knowledgeable manner. 

Responsibilities 

  • Provide knowledgeable, timely, and current information to guests in person, by telephone, and electronically regarding products, services, and events 
  • Process payments, credits, and refunds where applicable and sell and redeem gift cards, passes, and facility memberships 
  • Process facility bookings and create building use schedules 
  • Input program registrations, transfers, and cancellations 
  • Monitor inventories, order supplies and merchandise 
  • Support other facility staff in a team environment 
     

Skills and Abilities 

  • Demonstrate excellence in customer service, time management, and organizational skills 
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written; listens with sensitivity and empathy 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to remain calm, objective, and diplomatic while resolving issues in a service-oriented manner 
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality 
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Intelli booking software 
  • Experienced in cash handling and balancing 
  • Familiarity with facility services and products is an asset 
     

Qualifications 

  • Minimum completion of Grade 10, High School Diploma preferred 
  • Minimum one year of previous experience in a fast-paced customer/guest service environment 
  • Experience with ticketing software would be considered an asset  
  • Experience working in a performance venue or similar environment would also be an asset 
     

Conditions of Employment 

  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR-C certification  
  • Submission of Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
