Stars on Her Shoulders by Stephen Massicotte

Date: Oct 29, 2024

Workshop West Playwrights' Theatre is proud to present the world premiere of Stars on Her Shoulders, a WWI epic by award-winning playwright Stephen Massicotte - author of the Canadian Classic, Mary’s Wedding.

This production tells a compelling story of friendship, courage, and desire. Featuring some of Edmonton’s finest theatre artists, the play is based on two real Canadian Nursing Sisters, and the events they endured. We hope to honour these women—their compassion, tenacity, intelligence, and yes, their wit—with a season opener about what it means to be a hero.

All tickets are offered at pay-what-you-will rates! Available at: tickets.workshopwest.org

This season we're committed to making theatre radically accessible to everyone. So we'll provide the theatre, and you pick your price.
