Funk the Matriarchy is a high-energy 7-piece band on a mission to spotlight women in funk, soul, and R&B. Mixing chart-topping female hits and some hidden gems women artists, they fuse danceable grooves with a message of equality and celebration. Featuring members of King Muskafa, Second Hand Dreamcar, The Superband, Hi-Phoniqs, and Mocking Shadows, they’ll have you groovin’ all night and funkin’ it to the man!
