Title: Alberta Culture Days Grant Applications Now Open

Alberta Culture Days takes place September 1 - 30, 2025. The month-long celebration showcases talent from across the province, highlighting Alberta’s heritage, arts, community spirit and cultural diversity. What are you going to do in September 2025 to celebrate with Albertans? 

Communities and organizations can apply for the Alberta Culture Days grant to help build partnerships, engage with local talent and boost existing cultural programs. Alberta Culture Days is your opportunity to reach out to new audiences and showcase your organization and community. 

Grant applications are now open. Community organizations and not-for-profits can apply for funding of up to $10,000. 

Applications close on Saturday, March 15 at midnight. 

Apply now to become a feature, host or pop-up celebration site for Alberta Culture Days celebrations:

• Feature celebration site: Sites offering at least three days of family-friendly programming during Alberta Culture Days are eligible for up to $10,000 in funding support.

• Host celebration site: Sites offering at least two days of family-friendly programming during Alberta Culture Days are eligible for up to $5,000 in funding support. 

• Pop-up Celebration Site: Sites offering at least one day of family-friendly programming during Alberta Culture Days are eligible for up to $1,000 in funding support. 

Important: Online Application Portal for Alberta Culture Days Grant

Alberta Culture Days has moved to an online portal for all grant-related activities.

Key Changes:

• Online Application Portal: All grant applications must now be submitted through our secure online application portal "GATE Front Office."

• Secure and Convenient: The Front Office portal provides a secure and user-friendly platform for submitting applications. This change is aimed at streamlining the process and enhancing efficiency.
