Chambers’ Ring explores the history, spectacle, and materiality of boxing. Through the lens of media archaeology and process art, the work analyzes the rhythmic active body, how its perception is influenced via the mediation of technology, as well as the rules and formalized structures of game.

JazzYYC, Calgary's Jazz Collaborative, announces its annual Summer Festival, presenting a wide variety of musicians from across the World, across Canada, and from here in Calgary.

This show is a departure in every sense of the word from what you may have come to expect from Mary-Leigh.  With it she takes herself and the viewer on a quest. As her paintings took shape she seized the opportunity to realize a lifelong dream and has written a story around them. She has created her first children’s book…  for adults. Annette’s beautiful calligraphy completed the project and now they look forward to the possibility of a second book already in the works.

On June 1, 2025, the Kensington Sinfonia presents Quiet, Slow, Boring, a concert celebrating calmness and introspection. The program features two exciting new commissions, each exploring this theme in unique ways.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Coordinator at Theatre Calgary will play a key role in developing and implementing Theatre Calgary’s marketing and communications strategies. You will work closely with a highly creative team to assist in the production of powerful marketing initiatives that drive greater brand awareness, audience development, sales and global recognition among audiences that positions Theatre Calgary as an industry leader.
