Jason O’Connor is a Métis mixed-media artist, illustrator, and painter from Sylvan Lake, Alberta. His art explores themes of identity, symbols, and cultural connection, remixing traditional visual storytelling with modern tools. This creative perspective complements his career in business strategy, government relations, and community development, where he has helped organizations grow through creative collaboration and vision.

 Active in Alberta’s arts community for more than two decades, Jason has exhibited, curated, and supported numerous creative initiatives, including his past service with the Red Deer Arts Council. As a member of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts Board, his strategic insight and artistic drive help foster a thriving and culturally inclusive arts landscape across the province.
