Call for Workshop Proposals

Workshop Dates: Saturdays between May 16 - October 10, 2026

Alberta Craft is seeking artists to lead engaging, hands-on, craft-focused
workshops on one or more Saturdays throughout the season. Programming is
flexible and may include drop-in “make-and-take" activities or more
structured workshops with advance registration. This program is designed to
connect the public with contemporary craft while raising awareness of the
Alberta Craft Council, its artists, and programming. Workshops should be
accessible, interactive, and suitable for a broad public audience.

Instructor Compensation:

 * A one-time fee of $240, covering 4 hours of instruction and 2 hours of
   preparation.
 * Material costs will be covered up to $200.
