Showtime! A Grindstone Theatre School Improv Intensive with Lee Boyes!

SHOWTIME!

AN IMPROV INTENSIVE WITH LEE BOYES

Improv is fun! Finding your voice and spontaneously creating with others, can be a wonderful experience. However; we often get so wrapped up in our experience, that we may forget that of the audience.

This workshop is intended for intermediate to advanced players, who genuinely want to test themselves and become better performers. Through focused, short form scene work, we'll examine and dissect some of the most common behaviours and choices players make, and how they effect the show. This class aims to heighten your stagecraft, as well as your understanding of how the improviser and the audience can be mined for greater investment, trust and creativity. From planting and pitching to performing with your scene partners, we'll learn & play in a supportive environment that allows for failure, celebration and fun that will take your improv to the next level and beyond!

This workshop will take place over two days, on March 29th and 30th, and will culminate in a final showcase on March 30th at 7PM at The Grindstone Theatre!
