We are delighted to invite you to the 9th International Conference on Cardiology & Cardiovascular Diseases 2027, a premier global forum dedicated to advancing cardiovascular medicine and innovation. Join us on April 09-10, 2027, in the vibrant city of Zurich, Switzerland, or participate virtually from anywhere in the world!

Theme: “Next-Generation Cardiovascular Care: Harnessing AI for Innovation and Global Impact”

Summer Strummin’ is a 6-week online ukulele class for adults and mature teens at the beginner to intermediate level. Classes are taught live in a small online group and are suited to students who already know a few basic chords.

June 28 - Branch Weaving

Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Textile artist, Naomi Pahl will teach you how to select branches to use for a natural loom, select thread/warp loom and then teach you how to weave using a variety of colors, patterns and materials.

June 20: Métis Beading

Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Learn the basics of Métis Flower Beadwork and how to bead a Prairie Rose with Métis artist Connie Kulhavy. Discover the significance of this unique art form and take home your own beaded Prairie Rose.

June 14: Sew a Plushroom

Textile artist Naomi Pahl, offers you a chance to sew your own mushroom plushie! Create your own unique Plushroom, combining fun colours and patterns of recycled sweaters. Naomi will guide you as you sew, stuff and needle felt the face! This is a beginner level sewing pattern (but shouldn’t be your first time sewing) and participants should bring their own working sewing machines - but 4 sewing machines will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own sweaters to be upcycled!
