Luay is a Lebanese-Canadian theatre artist with an MA in Contemporary Performance Making (Brunel University London) and a BA/BEd in Drama (University of Alberta). In his creative practice as a writer, director and audiovisual designer, Luay has an interest in the intersections of digital media with live performance.
Prior to joining the AFA, Luay has had experience with grant applications and administration during his time with Arts Council Wood Buffalo and the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo. He is passionate about using this experience to support all Albertan artists with their granting journeys, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
