The Alberta Society of Artists is pleased to present the group exhibition “Nostalgia - Chasing Yesterday” featuring the work of artists across Alberta. The exhibition runs October 1st - 31st at the Western GM Gallery (In the Drumheller Public Library), 80 Veterans Way Drumheller, AB. Gallery hours are: Monday 9am - 5pm, Tuesday through Thursday 9am - 8pm, Friday and Saturday 9am - 5pm. ‘Nostalgia is a sentimental longing for the past—its people, places, events, and possibilities. What triggers this yearning?

Opera Al Fresco

Music, nature, and summer skies — Opera al Fresco returns to open our season with an enchanting outdoor concert at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden on August 27.

Set across two stunning locations — the Kurimoto Japanese Garden and the Aga Khan Garden — this evening invites you to stroll through breathtaking landscapes while opera’s most beloved classics fill the air. This relaxed, open-air event is the perfect way to savour a summer evening in Edmonton.

The Town of Sylvan Lake is hosting its third Art Show & Sale! Open to creatives of all mediums, this is a great way to introduce your art to new audiences! Held June 6&7th during the town's 1913 Days, a festival drawing in thousands of visitors from all over the province.

Call for submissions: Art Show & Sale

The Town of Sylvan Lake is hosting its third Art Show & Sale, and is open for artist submissions! The Art Show & Sale features Albertan artists who specialize in painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, photography, sculpture and more. Taking place during Sylvan's 1913 Days festival (which draws in tens of thousands of visitors to the town), it's an opportunity for artists to show their work to new audiences, make connections and sell their art.
