Kaleido Family Arts Festival

Arts on the Ave and Kaleido are excited to present the 21st annual Kaleido Family Arts Festival—and it’s going to be our brightest, boldest year yet!

Kaleido Family Arts Festival is a joyous, exuberant, radically open arts festival that shares the love of the Alberta Avenue Arts District.

Celebrate the arts and discover music, theatre, dance, street performances, food, artisans, art galleries, markets, and more in alleys, rooftops, parks and on Alberta Avenue.

Banff Pride Festival 2026, October 2 to 12

Banff Pride Festival returns October 2 to 12, 2026 with a program built on live performance: drag showcases at Melissa's, Sizzlers and the Moxy Banff, live music at the Pump and Tap, Big Gay Burlesque and Amateur Strip in Banff's historic Mason Hall, Reading with Royalty at the Banff Public Library, and a Pride Market for local makers. The festival opens with the March down Banff Avenue and Flag Raising on Friday October 2 at 4 PM. Community events are free and ticketed shows start at $15.

Summer Party

Come celebrate the release of Music of the NaAC, a new podcast by the National accessArts Centre, at ContainR Art Park by @springboardyyc in Inglewood!

We will kick off this end-of-summer party with performances by NaAC musicians Goody Drew (Koby Sharp) and Rachel Harding. A new 6-person group from the NaAC, Cat Fight, will perform their spoken word choir piece.

Musical Theatre Summer Camps

There’s still time to register for Youth Singers of Calgary’s Showbiz Kids Summer Camps — where confidence, creativity and community come alive on stage.

What’s it all about?

Perfect for Grades 3-8, these camps provide an in-depth experience of singing, dancing, and acting. Campers will work together to prepare a mini-musical that they’ll perform at the end of the week for family and friends.

No experience needed — just imagination and a love for performing!

What’s included?

containR Fest

containR Fest is back for 2026!

Produced by Springboard Performance, this summer series returns June 18th-21st with vibrant performances, artistic experiences, and community gatherings celebrating creativity in all its forms.

Together, Inglewood and containR promise a summer filled with artistic interventions, community gatherings, performances, markets, and moments of unexpected connection — proving once again that Calgary’s creative spirit thrives best in spaces willing to get a little weird and wonderful.
